Trees in the slope down to the Corrieshalloch Gorge in Scotland

Trees in the slope down to the Corrieshalloch Gorge in Scotland

Trees down the slope leading to the Corrieshalloch Gorge located in the Loch Broom valley near Ullapool in the Scottish Highlands in Scotland. This is a deep slot gorge, probably formed during a previous ice age when a strong current cut into the valley and a the bridge that is very close to the Falls of Measach, a fall which is 45 metre high. There is a bridge over the gorge, which provides a great view of the falls and the depth of the gorge. The photo shows the trees covering the narrow strip of area where the gorge is located. Beyond the gorge is a rail line and a highway, although right now there is no traffic on either of these. Overall, there is a lot of greenery in the photo, going up the slope of the hill in the background.
