View of Episcopal Cathedral in Edinburgh

View of Episcopal Cathedral in Edinburgh

View of Episcopal Cathedral in Edinburgh with streets around the structure and vehicles on the street and parked near the structure. The traditional structure of buildings in Edinburgh is visible in this image.
This is a building with a wonderful architecture, built in the 19th century. The church is called Cathedral Church of Saint Mary the Virgin or St Mary's Cathedral, being a cathedral of the Scottish Episcopal Church and is located in Edinburgh in Scotland. It is the see of the Edinburgh Bishop. The Cathedral was designed as a fine piece of Gothic architecture, designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott. In 1874, the foundation stone of the Cathedral was laid, with the nave of the cathedral being opened in January 1879, and the twin spires of the cathedral were completed in 1917.
