Vehicles moving through the American Bison area

Vehicles moving through the American Bison area

Cars moving through the open American Bison (Bison Bison) area inside the Blair Drummond Safari park near Stirling in Scotland. The park has these large enclosures for animals and allows visitors to pass slowly through these exhibits in their vehicles. Stopping or getting down from the vehicles is not allowed. In the exhibit, one can see the trunks of the trees are protected by covering them with wooden logs, no doubt to ensure that their bark is not stripped away.
Bisons at one time roamed through the length and breadth of the current day United States and Canada, but centuries of hunting and growth of humans made these an endangered species, and are now found in isolated groups inside the various natural parks. These bisons are grazers, primarily eating grass. These large animals have short necks, with the front part of their bodies covered with hair, the quantity of hair depending on the seasons.
The Blair Drummond is a safari park located near Stirling in Scotland. The park was opened to the public in the year 1970, and covers an area of 120 acres. The safari park allows visitors to drive through the park and view a number of animals who can roam around free in their own enclosures. Some of these animals include Rhinoceros, Dromedary camels, Lions, Siberian Tigers, Bison and various types of deer.
In addition to these drive through safari, the park also has other attractions such as animal shows of sea-lions, birds of prey, and other attractions such as Lemur Land, Chimp Island, Pets Farm, and also provide viewing platforms that allow visitors to see the enclosures of zebras, giraffe, lion reserves, and tiger reserves.
