A winding hilly road in the Idukki district of Kerala, close to the tourist town of Munnar. This is part of the Western Ghats and is a rich bio-diversity zone, with the usual confrontation between conservation and development. The surroundings are a mix of forest and grassland, and in the middle is this hill road winding its way through the smaller hills. Parked on the side of the road is a three wheeled auto-rickshaw with a bike parked further ahead, a few more vehicles can be seen in the distance.
