Sign for the Corrieshalloch Gorge in Scotland

Sign for the Corrieshalloch Gorge in Scotland

The sign for the Corrieshalloch Gorge located in the Loch Broom valley near Ullapool in the Scottish Highlands in Scotland. This is a deep slot gorge, probably formed during a previous ice age when a strong current cut into the valley. This is the bridge that is very close to the Falls of Measach, a fall which is 45 metre high. There is a bridge over the gorge, which provides a great view of the falls and the depth of the gorge. The photo is that of a wooden sign for the Gorge close to the bridge that explains the history of the Gorge and shows some of the walking paths.
