A Merganser drake in the water of the Loch Ness

A Merganser drake in the water of the Loch Ness

A bird in the water of the Loch Ness lake in the Scottish Highlands in Scotland. This is a distinctive bird called the Merganser, with the male of the species, the Drake, having a distinctive dark green color head with a band of white just below the head. This was early morning and hence light levels were low, so the image is not as sharp as I would have liked.
